Kassie and I have been here since last Fri. Saturday we went to San Antonio and visited Brant and Kim Taylor - good friends who moved from IF 7 years ago. It was so fun to see their cute family and visit for awhile. We went downtown and did the River Walk (which I was happy to find out it is a real river and not man-made). We also saw the Alamo (so we'll "remember the Alamo"). Addie was a trooper being in the car most of the day. She put up with us very well. Sunday we rested - you know church and all. Had a great dinner, went for a walk and played Monopoly (I won!!!). Monday was a shopping day and oh baby did Addie score. Little pill wouldn't even model for us after getting so many cute clothes!!!!! Today (tuesday) I finished Addie's new softie. She even sat on the couch and cuddled in the blankie while she watched Doodlepops!!! She loves that show. Anyway - it's been too fun and I hate to leave tomorrow. We each picked a goal that would help us become a little healthier and committed to do it for 3 months (with 1 month extension for the slackers). The catch to this challenge is that whoever met their goal at the end gets to go on an all <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">expensed</span> trip to NY <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">courtesy</span> of the best parents in the world! Anyway, this challenge is ending on Saturday and I am pretty excited about it! More excited to go to NY since I've never been. My mom once told me I was a deprived child, I'll never let her forget that she said that! I guess Kassie was too!
